Admission

Candidates must have completed one of the following patterns of study:
• 10+2+3 (15 years) OR
• 11+1+3 (15 years)

The UG Degree must be in one of the school subjects from a UGC-recognized university.

Academic Qualification

Candidates with more than one major subject in Part III/IV (Double or Triple Major) must choose only one subject as the optional subject for B.Ed. admission.

Double/Triple Major UG Degrees

Candidates who completed a four-year dual degree program with two major subjects are not eligible.

Four-Year Dual Degree Holders

Candidates who have completed a PG degree under 10+2+5 or 11+1+5 integrated programs are eligible.
Admission will be based on PG marks only.

Five-Year Integrated PG Degree Holders

Candidates who:
• Hold a PG degree in the same subject as their UG major, and
• Have secured at least 50% in PG (even if UG marks are below the required minimum)

→ Are eligible for admission, subject to community/category norms.

  • All selected candidates must submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Government Civil Surgeon / Civil Assistant Surgeon.
  • Failure to submit the certificate within the given deadline will lead to cancellation of admission.

  1. SSLC (10th) Mark Statement
  2. HSC (12th) Mark Statement
  3. UG Degree Certificate & All Semester Mark Statements
  4. Entrance Exam Mark Statement (if applicable)
  5. PG Degree Certificate & Mark Statement (if applicable)
  6. Community Certificate
  7. Physically Handicapped Certificate (if applicable)
  8. Ex-Serviceman Certificate (if applicable)
  9. Any one of the following:
    • NSS Special Camp Certificate (10 Days)
    • NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificate
    • Sports Certificate (District Level & above)
  10. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last studied institution

  • All admissions are subject to approval by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU).
  • Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will not be considered.
  • Admission is based on eligibility, availability of seats, and community reservation norms.
